Lin Qing won the National Award for Youth in Science and Technology
2016.09.24林箐教授获得中国青年科技奖， 9月24日在南宁召开的中国风景园林学会年会开幕式上举行了颁奖仪式。中国青年科技奖是中央组织部、人力资源社会保障部、中国科协共同设立并组织实施，面向全国青年科技工作者的奖项。旨在表彰奖励在国家经济发展、社会进步和科技创新中作出突出成就的青年科技人才，该奖项每两年评选一次。
Professor Lin Qing won the National Award for Youth in Science and Technology. The award ceremony was held in Nanning at the annual meeting opening ceremony of Chinese Society of Landscape Architecture in September 24th. National Award for Youth in Science and Technology is presented jointly by the Organization Department of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, the Ministry of Personnel of the People's Republic of China and China Association for Science and Technology, to honor the outstanding young scientists for their achievements in national economic development, social progress and scientific and technological innovation and facilitate the emergence of more young talents in science and technology. The award is selected every two years.

2016.06.112016年6月11日，“城市自然研讨会”在位于北京798的丹麦文化中心举办，王向荣在研讨会上做学术报告，题目是“城市中的自然，自然中的城市”。同日，丹麦景观设计师Stig L. Andersson的展览“松临城下”在丹麦文化中心开幕。
"Symposium on City Nature" was held at the Danish Cultural Center in Beijing 798 Art District in June 11th, 2016. Wang Xiangrong presented with the academic report entitled "Nature in the city and city within nature." On the same day, Danish landscape designer Stig L. Andersson's exhibition "The City of a Billion Pines" opened in the Danish Cultural Center.

2016.06.012016年6月1日下午，王向荣在南京林业大学园林学院做学术报告，题目是“城市与自然系统”。讲座持续了两个小时之久，全场座无虚席，还有许多热情的同学站在会场的角落听完了整场讲座。
On the afternoon of June 1st in 2016, Wang Xiangrong gave a lecture entitled "City and Natural System" at the School of Landscape Architecture of Nanjing Forestry University. The lecture lasted two hours with the audience packed, many students stood in the corner of the hall through the whole lecture.

多义景观设计的云阳阳光沙滩建成开放
Yunyang Sunshine Beach is opened to the public
2016.05.312016年5月31日，多义景观设计的云阳阳光沙滩建成开放。云阳是因三峡工程建设而重新选址建造的移民新城，城市位于长江和澎溪河的交汇处，三面环水，水岸长度约30公里。2015年2月，多义景观赢得了重庆云阳两江水岸设计的竞标，继而完成了详细设计和施工图设计，目前整个水岸绿带正在逐步建设中。三峡工程实施后，三峡库区范围内原长江沿岸的沙滩均被淹没，云阳阳光沙滩的建设是对历史上长江沙滩的回忆。阳光沙滩是城市居民健身运动的场所，同时也是云阳两江绿道的12节点之一。
The construction of Yunyang Sunshine Beach design by Atelier DYJG was completed and opened to the public on May 31st, 2016. The city of Yunyang is a new built immigrant town since the construction of Three Gorges Project. Located at the confluence of the Yangtze River and the Pengxi River, the city is surrounded by water on three sides, forming the approximately 30km-long waterfront. In the February of 2015, Atelier DYJG won the bid for the waterfront design project of Yunyang waterfront, and in turn completed the detailed design and construction design. The entire green belt is gradually being constructed at present. After the implementation of the Three Gorges Project, the original beaches within the reservoir area of Three Gorges along the Yangtze River have all been submerged, the construction of Sunshine Beach is a recall for the previous Yangtze River beach. Meanwhile, a place for daily exercise of urban residents is provided, the beach is one of the 12 spots of the whole project.

2016.05.282016国际风景园林师高峰论坛在北京林业大学举办，论坛的主题是“风景园林的价值与保护”。林箐教授在论坛上做报告，题目是“乡村景观的价值与可持续发展”。
2016 International Landscape Architecture Symposium was held in Beijing Forestry University, themed “Landscape Value and Preservation". Professor Lin Qing gave a speech at the forum entitled "Value and Sustainable Development of Rural Landscape".

2016.05.192016年5月19日，北方工业大学副校长胡应平教授在学校校长办公室接见王向荣教授，并向王向荣颁发了北方工业大学客座教授的聘任证书。
Prof. Hu Yingping, the Vice President of North China University of Technology (NCUT) met Professor Wang Xiangrong in the principal's office, and awarded with the appointment certificate of visiting professor of NCUT.
